PLACING BOLTS IS ILLEGAL IN THE SUPERSTITION WILDERNESS! MORE INFO >>>
In the early '90's the USFS banned all placement of bolts in the Superstition Wilderness. This unfortunately includes replacement of existing bolts. Violating this ban may result in climbing restrictions on this beautiful area. Please think twice and go bolt somewhere else.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Description A bouldery start with large pockets. Head up and left on ledges to a prominent crack. Follow the crack to the top. Can easily avoid any crack technique as there are plentiful features on either side (and also inside) of the crack.
Location Located on the south face of The Fortress. Begins on the far right side of the wall, right of a large overhang. Scramble down, first north, then east back to the base.
Protection Medium gear. Gear anchor on top.
