Description Suggest change

The Hogsback's south facing wall is less impressive than the its tall north face, and the least visited climbing area on the formation. Still, when the conditions are right, this sunny face may lure you in.

The routes here are named in Mike Carville's 1999 Tahoe guide, so I assume they were developed before 1999. Hopefully somebody in the know will be willing to share the history of the climbs around Stawberry Overpass.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow one of several faint climbers' trails towards the steepest and most inviting section of this otherwise low and slabby face. When the class 3 scrambling ends and becomes technical above the ledge you stand on, you're probably at the place.
