Description 

A great climb for beginner ice climbers as a top rope or for those starting to lead. It's about 23 miles fom Creede, look for the signs. The approach takes about 7 minutes to the top of the falls, or 15 minutes to the base. Snowshoes are recommended.

Protection 

This climb is so straight forward and simple, you could easily get away with 3 screws.

Toprope Protection 

A large tree growing out of the creek above the falls works perfect as an anchor.
