Description

Up the slight bulge into a dish and water streak below the steeper headwall. Pull onto the headwall, turn the arete on the right then straight up another water streak. Juggy and and mostly vertical climbing on super positive holds.

Location

2nd route from the right. Just left of Food Baby.

Protection

6 bolts + anchors

Where was the 5.9? Seemed easier to me.

Floyd, In the picture (Megan with orange shirt) that's pretty much the crux. I am leaning towards agreeing with you though that it is probably 5.8. The climb feels a bit more like 5.9 if you stay more left'ish and pull the bulge after a body length. If you hook right immediately after the 1st bolt on the small bulge, I agree it is probably 5.8.

It could also be that this route is seeing a bunch of traffic and cleaning up nicely. I haven't been out there for a few weeks, so I am looking forward to getting back on it and seeing how the choss is doing!

Okay, having climbed it a few more times it does feel more like 5.8.
