Description Suggest change

This area isn't technically part of the Aufseßtal group of crags, but it shares the same parking lot. The climbing here is really fun and interesting, but the spacing of the bolts on a lot of the routes is a little deterring for beginning climbers. That being said, it's a great place to train both your mental and technical game. There are possibilities on some of the routes to also reduce the spacing between bolts by placing stoppers or cams.
The crag is mostly north-, but also a little north-west-facing and in the trees. This makes it best on warmer days, or days where it doesn't matter where you go because there's no sunshine anyway.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking lot in Doos, head down the path on the right side of the parking lot across the small field and across the steel bridge. Head up the trail and take a right. After about 50m you'll get to a group of signs, and you'll follow the red and white path uphill and to the left. Stay on the trail for 100m directly uphill (if you veer right to reach the trail, go back left and downhill) to reach a forest road. You'll be standing at the hairpin with the choice of up or down. Go up and after 300m you'll see the crag on your right through the trees. Depending on which section is your destination, you'll simply head up the steep hill - there's not much of a trail anywhere that I saw, though there is a rope near the far right side.
