Description

Somnolent is a good-sized block with mixed rock quality. The boulder's main draw is its slightly overhung north face.

There is a large amount of soil on top this boulder. However, on my visit, the lip was completely clear and top outs were not a problem.

Getting There

It is located in the Southie Area. From the parking area, head down hill, cross East Creek, pass the Mecca Boulder on the dirt track, then head up hill in a southwesterly direction for about five minutes. Reference the page map for a more precise location.
