BETA PHOTO: Looking for the anchor bolts for Solar Power

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

The left climb of the 2 west-facing routes on the Bubble.A fairly straight-forward face climb with lots of pockets for holds. It seems like every time you think to yourself, 'that next one better be good!', it is!

Protection

4 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor.

Both this climb and West Face felt like 5.10c onsight lead. This was the better of the two routes.

I'm going to have to disagree with the above. It feels like at least 10D to me. West Facing probably is more accurately 10C though.

This climb has long reaches. At 5'10" I had to launch myself upward to grab the jugs and was glad I decided to top-rope rather than lead it. I thought it was a few letters harder in difficulty than West Face.
