The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Snooze Rock is on the backside of the Negropolis, on the SE corner. It is just around the corner to the right of the rightmost portion of the Anger Management Cliffs. Snooze Rock is a big boulder with a sharp arete on its right (northwest) edge. The formation sits about 150 yards up above the desert floor and hundreds of yards left (east) of the Pet Cemetery and City of the Dead.
