Description Suggest change

This is a great ski mountainering route or a moderate climbing route. The majority of the route is moderate snow climbing with a few sections of short WI 2. Once out of the couloir, you gain the west ridge to the summit. The crux is hitting the route in the right conditions. Beware of avi and rock fall. CLASSIC SKI MOUNTAINERING!!!

Location Suggest change

Locate the big rock towers on Peak 1 and the box-like couloir. You can't see the whole route from the road, but it goes. Park on the eastbound shoulder of I-70 and cross the river. You can also descend down the standard north ridge of Peak 1 to Frisco.

Protection Suggest change

A few nuts and pins and a 30m rope. There is no fixed gear on the route.
