Description

Steep and pumpy.

Up a groove to a step right and steepness, easily to the face, then more intricate with a fierce pull just before an easing and the anchor.

Location

Steep face right of Cat in the Hat.

Protection

Eight bolts to four bolt anchor, two of them mussy hooks.

I TR'd this one - Holy COW it was sketchy - Pump fest - teach me not to over grip ... I did not find "Jugs" as in the guide book - lots of thin edges

There are some thin hands, but from what I remember you almost always have solid feet to take most of the weight, just look high.

The jugs are all there. The one 10a move high up is thin, but the rest is fun fun fun.

This is a SWEET climb! Juggy moves at the start. Thin and edgy to the top. The crux is a committing move on a thin edge. My new Gorge favorite!

Good holds down low, great rests and awesome thin edges to top it off. Cool climb!

This is a very fun climb, and provides a good reason not to trust the star ratings here too much. This well bolted, interesting and sustained climb only averages 2.7 stars right now, while Gorge Corner - sparse bolts, some big moderate sections - on the same wall has a higher average. But I think both climbs are overlooked and worth doing.

SO FUN. Cool moves right off the ground to the first 3 bolts on the airy arÍte. And a real thin crimpy crux for a few moves higher up. Cant let your guard down b4 the anchors either. Sustained.
