Based in SF, planning a trip to Oregon. I want to focus on Smith Rock for a week, but have yet to find the right partner.

I lead sport up to 5.11a and mostly love multi-pitch. I have a car and all the gear, including for easier trad climbs.

Hey there Adal!

I was originally based in SF area too, but now live in Oregon. I'll be heading up to Smith Rocks this coming weekend or something in July as well. I lead up to 5.9 for now...may be able to convince to lead harder stuff, will see! :) I love crack climbing btw. I have a full trad rack and a car too. I actually learned to trad climb in Yosemite Valley. Let's get together!

Hey Yen,

Sounds like we were meant to climb Smith Rock together. I'll be there for a whole week, starting July 28th. Where do you live in Oregon? Depending, we might want to meet directly at the camp.

If anyone else wants to join, just pitch in.

Adal,

Shoot me an email here, ykrunner@gmail.com, and we can plan basic logistics at SmithRocks! Btw...your vein 12A picture, was that at the Ironworks gym in Berkeley? LOL. If so...I was a long time member of that gym when I was living 5 minutes away from it. :) Small world!!!!

Sounds like Yen won't be in town on the week of Jul 28th, so this thread is still open. Anyone want to climb Smith Rock that week?

I'm looking to climb 'wherever I may roam' and some other popular sport routes as well as lead some easier trad such as Spiderman or Cinnamon Slab.
