Hi.
The forecast for the weekend is pretty much guaranteed rain on Saturday. Would Smith Rock still be good a day after the rain?
I know sandstone and limestone are a no-no after the rain, and that some areas just dry slow due to local conditions and stay wet.
Is it worth driving all the way out for Fri+Sun?

Should be fine. Smith I very pourous and thenclimate is quite dry. You can usually climb directly after rain. Like right after. Sometimes it's even better than right before the rai

Yep. Rain washes off some of the chalk slime, typically makes it better IMO. Fair amount of routes that don't see rain that you could get on Saturday if you wanted as well

Just curious, which areas climb well in the rain?

Multiple routes in Cocaine and Aggro Gullies, some Picnic Lunch Wall routes, Christian Brothers has some good routes that stay dry.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
