Sleeping Indian Wall is the largest, most expansive wall in the Ton Sai Bay area. Before all the walls on the western end of the beach were developed, Snake, Ganja, Rastaman was established up the right side of the Sleeping Indian Wall. In 1995, we tried to find Snake, Ganja, Rastaman. It was only 75 meters from the edge of the beach, there was no trails, little information, and plenty of mosquitos. We started getting eaten alive by the mosquitos and couldn't find the start of the only climb on all those walls... So, we retreated and went to climb Humanality, again. Just a month later, Tom Cecil and company started to cut trails through the jungle to the base of The Melting Wall and Fire Wall... In the next few years, the Cat Wall was developed on the far left side of the Sleeping Indian Wall, and eventually numerous multi-pitch routes were put up across it's huge expanse. Heart Of Darkness in 1999/2000(Shammick and friends) above the Cat Wall(left side), Kitty Porn, Mussong, and The Ninth Life were put up by Sam Lightner Jr. and friends in 2000/2001... The Monitor Wall in 2003(Tom Cecil, Mark Miner), and Praying Mantis and Monkey See Monkey Do(Drew S. and frineds) were established during the 2004/2005 season on the far right side of the Sleeping Indian Wall. Big adventure awaits the curious climber that aspires to climb this intricate wall...
