rappin off slavery wall
Faces due south, but at this elevation and in this state, it tends to be reasonably cool year round.
Steep pocketed limestone is the story here. This is one of the many crags that make up the "Mondo Beyondo" area.
Great climbing here - favorites include "Happiness in Slavery" (12b) and "Screaming Night Hog" (12C). There are about a dozen routes on this wall, mostly in the 5.12 range.
The parking area is on the north side of the road, just on the west side of Tensleep Creek, at the top of the canyon. A reasonably good trail leads to the crag.

A Great route that unfortunately shares the Schools Out Start, which is also shared by Heart, Balls and Swagger and sometimes Screaming Night Hog, making for nice fuster Cluck at times. The second half of the route is steep on good holds with several bouldery sections. It was retro cleaned in 08 and the anchor was moved up allowing for one last crux and a bit straighter line....[more] Browse More Classics in WY

I recently took a trip up to Ten Sleep from 9/2/11 to 9/5/11 and I believe I left my new sarpa vapor climbing shoes at the base of the cliff. Most likely below Mommas Mental Medication. If anyone has seen the shoes can you get back to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks.
