Who here have done some High Lining/ Who wants to?

Slack-lining is what you're talking about...I think.
I just started getting into it and caught on pretty quick. If I can get enough practice in this year I'd like to walk the Lost Arrow Spire back to Yosemite Falls in September.

hit a plateau of about 15 feet- love and hate it. slack lining has helped us so much in the BALANCE department. I know I mountainbike much better. hate that we cant go further than 15 feet.
Tim- I want to but am NOT able.
craig512- I want to climb K2 but realistically am not going to make himalayas. ($$ time...)
dudes- you must show us photos of you slacklining lost arrow or any high lining. I'm pretty good at picking stuff up - but we are still waiting for a 'natural' to show up and just walk it.
you guys please elaborate on how far and how long it took to walk it.

were stuck at 15 feet and having fun

There's a couple of crews around here that are doing bigger stuff. Saw them go across the high parts at Jurassic Park and there was another group that set up 2 in Gregory Canyon on Sunday. One across the middle (1/2 way up)from the East Bench to the 2nd Pinnacle and one from the first to the second pinnacle.

90' off the deck..pretty sick. They floated back / forth / spins and sit starts.

Whew!

That is impressive as hell- they had harness's?

sickest was dean potter at lost arrow NO HARNESS - most impressive slack I've ever seen.Only problem is death when u make a mistake. I noticed when he was learning he used his base backpak- not anymore.
