Carver cliff is on PRIVATE PROPERTY! MORE INFO >>>
This is very important to remember, and the rules associated with climbing here must be respected if it is to remain open to climbers. In order to climb or boulder at this area you must sign a waiver and pay a one-time $8 fee at the Portland Rock Gym. Be sure to carry photo ID with you when you're at the area. Respect the land owner's property, don't litter, don't add or remove any bolts without permission, etc. It would be a big loss to the Portland climbing community if Carver were to be closed to us so do your part to keep it open and accessable.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment

Description A fun, technical face. Start low on a good right open-hand and a left handed edge. Toss to a hold on the arete and make your way to the top. Fairly reachy. Short people will have to figure out something tricky to make it to the arete. Really a great problem and worth the exploration it will probably take to find.
Location Far in the back of the Bonzais. Follow the trail past the main group of boulders and towards the road. The trail to this one is mostly overgrown. The problem itself was completely overgrown when I found it and required total cleaning.
