Description Suggest change

Start around and right from The Simpleton from a low start and work up the slightly overhanging juggy arete to the crux just below the top as you transition around the arete and join the top of The Simpleton. Mostly positive holds the whole way but a good spot is necessary to keep you off the boulder at the base if you pitch. Descend the backside as per The Simpleton.

  • This problem isn't listed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but is an obvious line with some good moves that's worth a go when in the area.

Location Suggest change

Just right of The Simpleton on the juggy arete.

Protection Suggest change

pads, spotter to keep you off a rock at the base
