Has anyone been up Charlotte Dome (south face 5.8) or Bear Creek Spire yet this season? With the low snow year, I was thinking of doing a trip memorial day weekend. Thanks!

No. call sierra mtn guides. ask for jed or viren, and feel free to mention my name. those lads seem to have a good handle on things... you could also come to CO. But it's raining - apparently making up for the shitty winter. Nice to see ya hanging on the proj, L...

You also could hit up this guy after the weekend to see if they made it up there:

Charlotte- pretty free of snow up to Kearsarge, then snow on the west side down to Charlotte Lake.
Bear Creek- patchy snow starts about 1 miles past Mosquito Flat, turning to thicker coverage past that. Sloppy conditions- on the last couple trips above snowline snowshoes have proved invaluable.
