BETA PHOTO: A= 40 Foot Smurf B= Sidewinder
Very popular route, beginning is deceptive and often gives climbers trouble.
Try to keep the barn door closed as you make your way up the corner to reach the crux exit. Finish on easy jugs moves and widely spaced bolts.
A key block fell out at the top of the corner, changing the crux from getting to the overlap to passing it. The grade did not change.
Near the center of the "Main wall", recognized by chalked up left facing corner with 3 bolts very close together.
5 bolts + anchor
Base of Sidewinder... deceptive tricky start.
SideWinder in middle Interesting fall sun colour....
Mid level look of the surrounding rock, Sidewinder...
Sidewinder is left side of center, small overhang...
Closer look of bottom, dihedral on right, 40 foot ...

You mean original sandbag. the grade has never changed even though the route did a bit. It may be a bit easier now I think.

A good route to be humbled on .... the start looks no big deal but is tougher than it appears.
