Description

Fun moves between good rests. Reachy crux move halfway up or so. A great route that is well worth doing. The Alcove stays shady slightly longer than almost anywhere else at the Quarry.

Location

In the middle of the Alcove, starting off a boulder. 10-15 feet left of the rebar ladder.

Protection

9 bolts to a pair of rap rings

Locating this route is quite easy - just look for the little white man painted on the rock. The crux seems to be going over a roof midway but endurance can be a factor as well.

There is an extension to this route called Long Shot (5.12b) *** 16 bolts to anchors/140'.
