The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This is the left slanting crack on the last climbable rock on the right side of the formation. There are about two handjams and then some summit type jugs to pull over onto the top.
Not a bomb, but not a full on 1 either. I'll go .7249 stars.
