I am looking into getting some new shoes just for bouldering. I have been looking at these: |

Muiras are more of an all-around. |

Also, if you profile is actually up to date both of those shoes are way more than you need now.I have a 20% off coupon right now.... my profile is fairly up to date the routes is my onsight level. (I can do some harder on a good day at the moment). I have 2 other pairs of shoes for routes, I am more interested in a shoe that does technical climbing very well for outside granite. With the health problems I have been having this year I have been doing more bouldering and want shoes just for that. The bouldering around me is usually very small crystals for footholds so the shoe needs to edge very well. I have bouldered on and off for 12-15 years If I can stay out of the hospital I can get back up to v3-v4 fairly fast and progress from there. so what is a good shoe out right now? |

For slabby to just past vert get Miuras. |

Solutions are made for bouldering and edge extremely well. Muira lace are all around general shoes. Muira velcro are slightly more aggressive but nothing compared to the Solutions. |
