DescriptionThis area is located north of Okutama on Hwy 204/Nippara just past Tokyo Trout Country on the left. To access this area park on the side of the road in a pull out and walk across the bridge to the base of the main area. The main area consists of several hard to very hard routes. These routes range from 5.11a to 13d. Most of which are at least three pitches. There are two other sectors; one up and right and the other requires a bit of scrambling to access to the lower left next to the river. The LL area is visible from the road. The upper areas are quite cold in the winter due to their orientation. This area has seen quite a bit of rebolting and is still seeing bolts updated today. Getting ThereFrom Tokyo drive to Ome then take 411 to Okutama. At Okutama turn right on Hwy 204 The crag is about two miles on the right. First off until the bolts on all of these routes are changed do not climb any of them on lead. This route is fun and a good warm up. The route moves up easy holds to a tricky move at the first bolt then through some good holds to the crux 3/4 of the way up.
