Description Suggest change

Pretty straight forward. Hike up the Falling Waters trail and break left for Shining Rock. It's soft ice thanks to the sunlight.

Location Suggest change

Kind of tricky to find if you don't know where Shining Rock is. Makes for a good adventure.

From Mark NH - Shining Rock is on Little Haystack Mountain. Falling Waters trail with sign for the "right" turn to Shining Rock

Protection Suggest change

Ice axes. Standard ice rack if you want.
