Working on goals for next season.. Anyone climbed this ? Secor describes it as five pitches from 4th to 5.7 on 'perfect rock'.

google earth image shows wonderful chunk of rock back there
wonder if you could top out and traverse the ridge back towards 20 lakes basin?

A buddy of mine climbed this a few years ago and said it is outstanding. Outstanding scenery in this region. Highly recommended

yes, you can. I climbed one of the couloirs in the spring of 2009, climbed the ridge to the top and then skied back down to the lakes.

Cool!!! Sounds like a fun tour. That region is one of my favorite ski haunts, especially when the boat is going.

here's a shot of the south face with that couloir at the very very top... sorry Rob, not really what you asked originally but... at least you can see all the way to the top of the crest
