I think there were two starts to this actually.

Climbed this route with a sds using underclings andthen working the big "Shark Fin" as we called it. finished on the arete for the top out. fun moves along that big fin really forces body tension and good static moves.

Ok, I did a sit-start and pulled into the fingertips undercling. Moved out right to the "sharks fin" And worked my way up using the big chicken head above the the fin. I don't think I can climb V4-5 at the lake but it did take more then a few tries.

Worked this problem the same way Paul did. I agree, not V4-5, but probably one of my favorite problems of the trip. The body tension needed while smearing to grab that "chicken head" made it crazy fun.

Great problem. Let's get a name for this one too. I vote for "Shark's Fin Arete"

I climbed this again yesterday, more like V2 but pretty fun.
