Description Suggest change

Shadowcaster ascends a slightly overhanging arete on good rock over an equally good landing.

Sit start with an obvious pair of edges below the arete. From there, gain the horizontal rail, work the feet up, then make a big, awkward left hand move to a three-finger dimple/pinch (crux), match a right next to it on a spike, then work a few balanced moves on the remaining arete, and top it out.

Location Suggest change

It ascends the northwest arete of Daylight Boulder.

Protection Suggest change

A pair of pads will do, the landing is slightly sloping, but very good overall.
