Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Visible as a slabby and not especially appealing boulder from most sides, this medium sized boulder actually has a few decent problems on it that are worth doing if in the area. An easy downclimb exists down the short east face of the boulder.

The surprisingly fun and athletic Seven Grain Arete (V1) and the technical slab of Whole Grain Goodness (V2) are the highlights here.

Getting There

Located just southeast of the large Hoi Polloi Boulder with the Seven Grain problem facing towards Multi Grain (V1) on the south face of the Hoi Polloi Boulder.
