Plenty of limestone climbing only 100km from Belo Horizonte.

I know it's the "rainy season" but is it good climbing in January?

Peter, I was in the area for New Year's. It did rain but there's plenty of overhang routes you can climb, or easier ones with wet handholds. It's worth the visit.
