Looks like there was an REI commercial with her toproping stuff as well.... shot on same cliff... etc.... as the previous toproping video.

Yeah, I think this is actually a serious video, created to inspire us.

Was she bouldering with cams and a harness at the begining?

Not particularly inspiring or funny. Not really even view-worthy.

Professional rock climber?! That line at the end made me giggle.

Maybe they meant to say actress instead of rock climber.

She has been featured in instructional video as well.

The fact that I actually too the time to watch the gym climbing video says a lot about my day right now. But wow. What a very instructional video!

Wow... this was a big production at Stoney about 10 weeks ago.... three or four trucks, catering, ATV's running crap out to the ground below Mozart- in short a big production. All for this????

I guess its some sort of casting couch deal, she didn't even send any of the noob problems at Stoney.

but she is a "PRO".

At least the production company employed a good clean up crew, all the litter was picked up.

I don't think MPers were the target audience. Who cares if this doesn't inspire you. It might inspire someone out there to get fit and get into rock climbing. I though the actress did a perfectly fine job, running, climbing etc. I'm guess the way things were set up had more to do with the director and the crew than her opinion.

You are making this a lot less fun! :(

As said, the general climbing community is not the target audience. However, if she has really been "climbing" for 10 years, the running sequence with gear and runners hanging off of her harness makes her a noob with little credibility. I was waiting for her to catch one and take a tumble - guess I will have to wait for the out takes.

yeah, I was waiting to see her take a tumble with those slings hanging down, shes been at this 10 years, seriously? doesn't look like it to me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
