This secluded area is right of Sentinel. It's a shady place with some good routes as Vanishing Point, Mental Block, Hari-Kiri, Ying-Yang and Maniana
Park at turnout 1.4 miles east from El Cap Bridge. This turnout has a shoulders on booth sides of the road. From right turnout find the trail which lead to Valley loop trail. Turn left ( east) to Valley loop trail and walk about 3 min until you cross dry creek and turn right when you see the duck to the climbers trail. This trail bring you to the base of Maniana.
From base of Maniana to Vanishing point about 20 min of scrambling. If you going to visit Vanishing point only - it would be much faster continue to Valley loop trail two more minutes past Maniana turn to huge bolder on your right [presidential bolder] and take faint trail up from there

Many people don't know that poison oak grows this high up, but it does. Part way up the hill on the approach trail, you will encounter it growing low to the ground(ankle biters). It peaks around the base of Manana then disappears along the rest of the cliff.
