| I'm looking at the weather forecast and debating whether or not a trip to Seneca tomorrow would be worthwhile. Does anyone know how much snow is currently on the ground there? Is there likely to be verglas? Does it dry out in winter as well as it does in the warmer months? | FLAG |

| Was warm earlier in the week. Seneca tends to dry super fast (maybe not thais, etc). Calls for snow today and tomorrow right now. Id go! Do it dude. I've climbed in the snow there more than once and its epically awesome (beautiful)! | FLAG |

| yeah I'm psyched to head there in the winter, I just want to make sure I can climb it in rock shoes as I don't have mountaineering boots. Is that too optimistic? | FLAG |

| I have rock shoes that are .5 larger than I prefer so I can wear socks in the cold. Regular hiking boots are totally doable there I think on multiple routes. Do you have thin nylon socks that you could wear in your existing shoes for the actual climbing? I don't know you so its hard to say yay or nay to go but: GO! Have an adventure. even if you're cruising 5.2/3 it'll be epic in the snow there and you'll most likely be alone which is even better! | FLAG |

| I have a pair of bigger shoes that can fit socks on underneath. My concern is just with ice, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. Thanks! | FLAG |

| If you go post pictures! I was going to be there this weekend but switched to Old Rag next weekend so I could climb with a friend. Enjoy! | FLAG |
