BETA PHOTO: Seduction of gravity!

Description

This is a steep and juggy route that begins by climbing a small ramp that angles right above a spring coming out of the wall. The Ouray Rock Climbing guidebook stated Jason bolted this route on lead, with a self belay, hanging on with one hand and drilling with the other. It is a nice area in the shade.

Location

Start to the right of the lone tree on the right side of the wall, to the right of Lap Route.

Protection

Quickdraws with gear for the top anchors.

BEWARE, the buckets pillar that is around the third bolt, has fractured due to freeze and thaw, and is now VERY hollow and will fall off soon. Avoid the route until it is cleaned. The blocks weigh approximately 100 pounds each.

Just look to the right, where in between routes, 2 tons of rocks fell and knocked a tree down.

I tugged on the pillars pretty hard today, they still seem solid, but, as always, test your holds before weighting them (duh). Otherwise, this route rules. Nice and steep with great moves the whole way.
