DescriptionProbably the best piece of developed rock in Laos. A towering wall of clean white limestone, overhanging enough to protect the area even in torrential downpour. The area hosts about 20 climbs, from 5.10 to 5.13; mostly single pitch but there's a few two-pitch lines and a 4-5 pitch that almost hits the top. An absolute must see if you've come to Laos. Getting ThereDepends on the exact path you took to get here, one of them leads straight here. Otherwise just follow the wall until you get to a huge corner of fantastic looking rock, you really can't miss it. The crux is the huge tuffa/stalactite hanging in the middle of the route and involves some chimney/scumming maneuvers that might allude some Sportos. Long, sustained, and interesting; a must do....[more] Browse More Classics in International |
