Second Question...

Just spoke with my partner. Are there any good moderate sport climbing areas? Any areas with well bolted 5.8-5.10s? Of course, if there are routes up to 5.12 in the area, i wont mind, but i got to prioritize the moderates...

Cheers!

Scott

Yo Mr. Scoot,

Lotta Balls is a great 5.8 trad climb that is only 3 pitches long. A few easy-to-find straightforward raps and short, easy scramble descent. Other good routes back there too. Cool location, shaded.

LOTS of well-protected, moderate sport climbs (its Red Rocks). Second Pullout comes to mind... The Gallery would meet your criteria for a place with a few easy clip ups that also has quality 12s, but you wont be alone there.

A lot of moderate sport routes can be found at
Black Corridor
Panty Wall
Magic Bus

The second two areas also have some nice trad lines.

These areas are understandably pretty crowded...

try the Stone wall 10-11's nobody is ever there and it about 3hundred
Yards away from the black corridor.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
