Scottsdale climbing partner 23rd-27th

I will be in Scottsdale for a week and was hoping to get some climbing in one day between 23rd through the 27th. I confidently lead up to 5.11a on gear and like getting on 5.12 sport routes. I am debating whether or not i should bring my rack along with all my other general climbing gear. If I hear back before I leave on the 22nd I will probably bring it. Looking for someone in a similar skill level or a local that can at least show me around... planning on making many more trips in the future.

Scottsdale is going to be ridiculously hot for the climbing that's around here. A kid just died on camelback bc of the heat. I live here and I'd suggest stopping in Flagstaff instead, cooler temps and better climbing. But if your serious about Scottsdale then start really early and bring enough water for twice the time you will be out in the heat.

Thank you for the advice, I didn't take the weather this time of year into consideration. I will have a car while I am down so distance isn't too much of an issue.
