The Scooter Trash Wall is on the west side of the same rock as The Training Ground. Tod Anderson calls this rock The Saddlehorn in "Rampart Range Rocks". The cliff faces west so it is shady in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. The routes here are short but are quality lines on well featured rock.
Follow the directions to The Training Ground, but once you are on the level ground at the pass, head to the right towards the west side of the rock (The Training ground is to your left). Stay close to the rock and descend into a corridor/chimney where you will find the routes.

Getting up to and clearing the overhang is the physical crux, but then it requires thoughtful, thin, balance moves past the last two clips. ...[more] Browse More Classics in CO
