Description

Like most of Maple Cyn, bolt protected cobbles. This gully, has east facing climb. Sun isn't a problem here though, just the crowds. Numerous routes have cold-shuts.

Getting There

As you are driving up canyon, you will see a set of bathrooms just before the campgrounds. Park here and hike north of the bathrooms. Within 5 minutes you are there (an alcove on your left).

Fun little area for people who are just starting to lead. since it is just acrost the road from the pipeline it is a great warm up area if you are planning on climbing the pipeline. Short climbs, one wall has potential for a fun looking two pitch climb but nobodys bolted yet. Hope to see one their soon

Almost always busy, especially on the weekends. I agree that it is a great area for people just starting to lead. Also, Road Kill Wall a few feet further up the trail has some good walls. These two areas have some easy climbs even for the grade. Great for building lead confidence. Then go to Pipeline for some falling experience!
