Description Suggest change

A small secluded granite wall. Only a few climbs are currently established. Rock is crumbly in places, but would clean up with more traffic. Located off the beaten path and requires some scrambling/bushwalking to access.

Getting There Suggest change

The approach takes ~35 minutes if you know where you are going, but is likely to take longer the first time around. Hike up the Shirley Canyon Trail until you see Santana wall in the distance on your right (it is a black and white streaked wall rising out of a nest of manzanita...photos in locals guide to rock climbs of North Tahoe by John Jackson). Head off trail and walk towards the wall (the easiest access appears to be on the right of the formation, although access from the left is also possible...just stay out of the manzanita thicket in the center).
