The Surf Ranch Resort installed an artificial climbing wall in the Fall of 2013 ( surfranchnicaragua.com/rock…).

In the past (pre-Fall 2013), they offered rappelling down a nearby sea cliff.

Getting There Suggest change

Driving from Managua to San Juan Del Sur (app. 2.5 hours) is reportedly fairly easy - the road is supposedly paved the whole way.
