Do yourself a favor and hit El Cajon mountain. I really enjoyed multi-pitch face climbing on this mountain.

I just booked a trip to S.D. for February 18-24, 2011 and I'd like to do some climbing (limited--my wife's not into it). I see that there are some boulders in the area but I'd also like to do a bit of sport climbing and I'm not crazy enough to free solo. What with luggage limitations, I'll only have room for shoes, chalk, and maybe a harness. Is there a good climbing gym where I might find some people heading out to J-Tree or other crags? We'll be staying on Sail Bay. Thanks.
