Do not park in the residential neighborhood! Park in the designated lot MORE INFO >>>
There is an excellent parking lot available (thanks to the BC Climbers Access Society, I believe), but people continue to park in the residential areas anyway.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Description This climb is a little too short, but is good quality. The detractor of height can be mitigated by clipping the anchor with a long runner and continuing onward into 'Asleep At the Wheel' at a rather consistent and continuous grade. Step up off of the ground (crux?) and into solid jams and cams onto the ledge with a chain anchor.
Location This climb lies own 20 meters low and right from the Split Beaver Namesake climb. A hand-crack splits a short section of off-vertical wall to a good ledge with a set of chain and ring anchors.
Protection A single set of hand and wide hands cams... more if continuing onto 'Asleep At the Wheel.'

| This route is now called Salal Jam. It used to be just the left-hand start to Asleep at the Wheel. |
