Description

Safety ledge follows a right facing corner. This route is usually wet but when the conditions are right this is a great warm up for the area. It ends at the anchors above the ledge.

Location

Safety Ledge is right of Lightning Crack. Both routes share the same start.

Protection

This route was originally established as 5.9X in the mid to late 80's. It is now equipped with 5 lead bolts to anchors. Thanks to the first ascent party approval.
