Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Shadier and a little steeper than the other side of the formation with a nice selection of crack and face routes from 5.8 - 5.13a. Space Mountain (5.10b), Raging Bull Dike (5.11d) and Iconoclast (5.13a) are the best of the bunch here and woth seeking out if in this area.

Getting There

Hike the signed access trail to the base of the rock and then head left and up talus to reach the base.
