Amazing feat!...they put 9 souls on the summit and back down to camp 6 with no fatalities. Here is a link to the announcement

Haha I like how the post said "The West face has surrendered!", naively, most people like the idea of conquering the summit and defeating it. But IMO, the West face of K2 was generous enough to let us climb it that day!
