Was curious what the cheapest option at rumbling bald is? Saw that the coffee shop that offered free car camping closed a long time ago. Thanks for the help

Creekside camping is just up the road in Bat Cave. Slightly expensive, but it has indoor bathroom facilities. They have a range of cabins as well as primitive.

I have stayed at two of the motels there and got bed bugs both times.

The other times I set up a tent across from the Ingles on the nature trails. The sign says that camping is allowed, but fires are not. We never saw anyone and were able to get up and walk across the street to the Ingles when they opened at 7.

Just down the road that runs behind the Ingles is Hitching Post campground. $15/night/site w/ fire rings. This time of year it's quiet.
