I have committed to putting together a Rumbling Bald Guidebook. Two national publishers are interested. It will be a full color, heavy on photos edition. It will not include boulders as Chris Dorrity already has that covered. I plan on including routes from Dixie Reality on the left end to the right end of Cereal Wall. GT is a possibility, but this obviously depends on how fast things develop with the park over there. If you have put up any routes, no matter how obscure, that were not covered in Kelley's or Shull/Lambert guides, (and there have been a lot!) please send me your descriptions and info. Pictures, anecdotes, topos or ideas are all welcome. I will be calling on some of you personally for history, cliff line walks etc. Thanks in advance. My email is: sean_cobourn@yahoo.com.

There are several guidebooks with the Balds roped routes in them, and the bouldering guidebook has been out for about 6 years now.

Also do you know if there are any additional routes established above The Gift Certificate or Gunboat Diplomacy/Sever Year Itch?

guys if this happens it will be a while. Sean has a full time job, likes to go climb and do a ton of other things. I'm sure he'll update when something is put together.

Sean and I are pecking away. Hopefully out next season...but that's been said for a few seasons now. The good news it, its becoming more and more complete.

Not to mention the slam packed moonshine drinking, festival partying, and girl scout leading weekends.

I have to admit... I want this pretty bad. There is SO much good climbing at the Bald, but without the book (and with MP info being so scarce), it's hard to onsight with no info and risk getting in over your head.

Tons and tons of undeveloped amazing climbing at the Bald. Awesome rock quality and interesting cliffs.

the select guide has a large number of the older routes in there in case you don't own one.

Black Dome has a copy of the 2nd addition of the TK guide with routes penciled into the RB section. That, The Select Guide and Mountain project should keep you busy for a while.
