Description Suggest change

This is essentially one significant, well-featured boulder recently discovered by Cape Ann rock hound Jim Dangle. This boulder is the perfect height, has problems all around it, and is mostly shaded.

Getting There Suggest change

It is a long hike. Park at the dirt pullout on the right side of Rt. 127 in Rockport just before the Babson Museum as for the Town Line Boulders. Hike uphill a few minutes straight uphill to a trail, and head right which brings you near the houses. Follow this trail and bear left at the first fork and proceed towards the water reservoir(Cape Pond). Take the trail that goes right around the reservoir(Cape Pond) for 10-15 minutes until you reach an intersection. There will be a 10 foot block off to the left, this is the Gelato Boulder. Continue right on the wide dirt road for another 5-6 minutes to reach Rum Rock Lake. Take the first right hand trail around Rock Rum Lake to the end, and then bushwhack right into the woods 50 meters to find this block.
