Description 

A great chance to climb on the foundation of a former fortress! This is a "Burg Ruine", and as such is an interesting attraction. You can go in and see the walls of the former fortress and look over the cliff upon which it was built. This last point makes this crag a photographer's dream because you can just stand at the top and photograph your friends climbing!
The rock itself has seen some obvious use and is therefore a bit polished. The routes are, however, mostly pretty good and not very slippery. They're also well-protected.

Getting There 

From the parking area, follow the road into the town of Leienfels and take the dirt road on the right up to the Burgruine (there are signs directing you the whole way). Continue past the ruins on the left and follow the path down to the base of the climbs underneath the ruins.
