Generally overhanging and pocketed, many of these routes climb like routes at the Red River Gorge: juggy, big moves. With the height of the routes being roughly 30m, a 60m rope is an absolute necessity and a 70m rope is recommended, especially if you want to climb on the other Roter Fels areas too.

Classic route! The climbing doesn't get much better than this. Climb up through the first two bolts (crux) to get to the ledge and shake out. Continue up and left through the undercling roof, then head right and up and keep going straight up to the top.
